Go Fly A Kite (and 52 WOC)

I decided that I wanted to try flying a kite. After all, it’s nearly summer… the weather has been lovely, and I just thought this might be a fun way to celebrate. I was also a bit behind on the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge and figured this was a chance to catch up.

So, I threw on some comfy – pistachio colored – clothes, found a pretty place to fly it and grabbed the Lisp kite that I bought at Collabor88. But… it wouldn’t fly. 😦

I was very sad about this, and decided to go home and pout in my Cheeky Pea blanket fort. It’s cute and comfy, and really… I just needed a good pout.

But I’m not a quitter. So, the next day I decided I needed a new outlook. And perhaps a hair cut. I threw on some more comfy, summery clothes (making sure to get some raspberry glace color in there)… grabbed a new kite and returned to the pretty park. And this time… well, see for yourself!
