It’s no secret that I love Truth hair. I’ve been wearing it for over 3 years now, and I recently counted and discovered that just on my main av I have 250+ styles. *insert blush here* Yeah, I know. It’s a lot of hair, and it’s not counting the styles alts have for use in our store vendor ads. But I can’t help it! First off, no one else that I know of who makes hair in SL is as prolific as Truth Hawks. He does near weekly releases, which is just brutal temptation for a hair addict like me! Second, the styles from Truth just suit me so well. Lucie might not look like the RL me, but I am the same person, no matter which world you meet me in. It’s hard for me to deviate from a certain comfort zone because of that, and so I am drawn to things I’d wear or want in RL. Anyway, when I heard from my sister Alianna that they were accepting applications for Truth bloggers, I knew I had to apply. I was beyond excited to be approved! It’s probably a bit silly to some, the idea of being so excited over virtual hair, but yeah. It totally made my day… and I was both elated and honored.
I fell in love with the latest releases instantly and I will be blogging Milly later… but first, Kara. This style is so romantic and pretty, and, as it turned out, this style was absolutely perfect for a look I’d put together for a lovely birthday ball I attended last night. Guests were asked to come in medieval themed clothing, and I adore the styles of that period, so this was a fun look to put together. I knew right away that I’d want to go to Evie’s Closet to find a dress. The Cariad gown was perfect, and the version I chose features two of my most favorite colors… purple & a teal(ish) blue!
I paired the gown and the hair with this lovely wreath, also from Evie’s Closet… it has a hud and it’s so customizeable! It’s very cool. The flowers and leaves can be tinted separately, which is what I did for this look, but it also looks really pretty all solid.
I took these pics at Da Vinci Gardens. It’s very pretty, with a lot of different settings, and I knew there would be a perfect one for this look.
I want to thank the Oleander family for inviting me to Peyton’s party. I had such a fabulous time and wound up with a great, fun look I probably never would’ve had a reason to wear – or blog! – otherwise.
