Cinematic Dress Up

I love Halloween. It’s just so much fun to dress up, and have fun. If you also love Halloween, you definitely need to check out the Cinema event. There are a ton of great costume ideas, along with every day or RPing ideas to be found. Here are some of my favorites… so far!

When I saw the poses Hopscotch was going to release for this event, I was in geek heaven. Doctor Who and Star Trek inspired heaven… I’ll have something from the Doctor Who themed releases soon, but for my first look, I went for Star Trek. I paired Hopscotch’s pose with the adorable dress from E! Eclectic Apparel, inspired by the outfits from The Original Series. I picked blue because if I were in Starfleet, I’d definitely be a science officer! I rented a MultiScene skybox for an hour, and this is the Visio scene with one of the planet surrounds. I decided to turn on the hot tub, because let’s face it, Kirk would love that. Besides, the steam and bubbles seemed to add drama.

Unseen Enemy

For my second look, I am wearing Pididdle’s Cinema offering, called Undead Perfection. There is a story that goes with this ensemble, and I just loved the creativity and effort that went into this. If you’d like to read the story, click here. I copied it from the notecard that was included with the outfit. This outfit contains nails, the face mask, the bodysuit and even the awesome tattoos. This was also taken in a MultiScene skybox, and this scene is called Swamp. The skin is the Matrioska offering for October’s MySecond Box.

Undead

My last look is more every day, but still dramatic. This Willow hair from Alice Project for Cinema is amazing. For me, it conjured up a windswept beach… and possibly a broken heart, or date night that ended in a way that wasn’t planned. This look was inspired by a character in a Nora Roberts series I really enjoy. The character’s name is Mia, and she has flame red hair and grey eyes. She’s also, it just so happens, a very powerful (but “good”) witch. I paired this hair with the elegantly dramatic tiered dress that Valentina E. Couture has for one of their Cinema items, and I wandered to Fire Beach to shoot these pics.

Witchy Woman

I’m also wearing the newest skin release from Izzie’s. Fuyu is just stunning. I am so in love with this skin. Here’s a better look. You can also see the dainty and delicate necklace I snagged from the Collisions booth at Cinema.

Night Breeze

I’ll have more from Cinema soon… stay tuned.
