The RFL 2013 Home & Garden Expo ends on June 2nd. This event raises money for the American Cancer Society.
I decided I wanted to do something a little different for this event. I wanted to set up an entire house with just items from the event. It took me about a week, but it’s finally done. I’ll be breaking this into 2 blog posts, and both will be image intensive, so I’m gonna try to not babble as much as I usually do.
The house I used is from By Dorian, and it’s called the Hope Cottage. Everything but my sky platform (from Inverse Designs) and a couple of the trees (from Forest Floor) can be found at the H & G expo. If you click through to Flickr and hover over the pics you can see where each item is from. If you have questions, feel free to ask!
I love Dysfunctional Dolly Designs [DDD]. This grapevine trellis is so pretty. The cobblestones and planters are Barnesworth Anubis. I love stone walkways, so I knew I had to use these.
The cluttered bookshelf in my entryway is one of the items from Second Spaces. The chair, the hat decor, wall rail and rug are all from Kuro (formerly L&K Prefabs). The jam jars are from Atelier Visconti, and the planter is from %.
This bed by Mudhoney is so, so cute, I couldn’t decide which version to show you. So I set up both in the bedroom of the Hope Cottage. The little house light is from Zigana. The nightstands and dolls are also Mudhoney, and the rug is Dreamscapes Decor.
This final pic is a collage of cute items from Cobblestone.
Part 2 coming tomorrow (or later today, depending on where you live)!
