I immediately fell in love with FATEplay’s latest release for Wizarding Faire 2015. How can you not love a working broom and a quidditch uniform if you’re a Harry Potter fan?! The uniforms are sold with a broom, but the broom is also available for sale separately. So if for some reason you just want the broom, that’s an option! I took my quidditch uniformed self to Blithe and flew around, looking for a great place to take a picture in the sky. When I saw the comets, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Know what’s really cool about this broom? Damien Fate, owner and creator of FATE Designs, said that when he updates this broom it will be compatible with the quidditch game played at Mischief Managed. If you’re not familiar with Mischief Managed, that’s the role-play sim where Wizarding Faire 2015 is held. I am fascinated by role-play, but the reality is, I lack the patience for it. I want to just get up and cross a room, not type out that I’m crossing the room. But if role-play is your thing and you love Harry Potter, definitely check out Mischief Managed. If, like me, it’s just not something you can do, fear not! Mischief Managed opens the castle doors to the Wizarding World every Monday with OOC (that’s “out of character”) Mondays! There are important guidelines to follow, and you can learn more about that on this page. But it’s really pretty cool that even non-RPers like myself can visit this lush, gorgeous, incredibly detailed sim for fun and photo ops.
And don’t miss out on Wizarding Faire, which is now open and full of Harry Potter universe greatness!

The Mystic Realms Faire ends tomorrow, so if you haven’t checked this event out yet, don’t wait! It’s two sims full of fantasy.
I wanted to share some of my finds from the event. First, I love this hair from Exile so much. The crown is optional, as well as texture change. My jewelry is also from Mystic Realms, by Cae. My gorgeous skin is the newly released Grace from Belleza.
Koy released some awesome poses, complete with crossbow prop, for this event. And FATEplay has a new outfit, Surie, which is available in three different versions and plenty of color choices. This is my favorite version. The boots are included, too!
For Mystic Realms, Consignment released this adorable little Planter’s Habitat home. The mushroom seat and faeries sign are part of this set.
Be sure to check out this great event before it ends tomorrow!

Uber is almost over, but you still have until the 25th to go by and grab some apocalyptic themed goods! I have to admit, I’m not usually into the apocalyptic themed stuff, but I was pleasantly surprised to find myself drawn to this round.
This Jack’s Bugout Shelter skybox from Consignment is really awesome… you can buy the skybox and all the furniture and accessories separately, or you can buy the entire set (which is what I did). For L$850 it was too great a deal to pass up! I already had this awesome FATEplay outfit which seemed just a perfect fit to go with my boots from Deadwool. I’m pretty beaten up, so clearly I really need that first aid kit you can see on the floor. That’s from Frogstar for the new edition of Level Up.
Glam Affair has some really fun skins out for Uber, and this is one version. My hair is Exile and also from Uber. My body bruises are from Soedara, and I found them on Marketplace.

I really loved this outfit from FATEplay’s most recent release. This one was a post-apocalyptic, nuclear war inspired release, and all of the outfits include wristband radiation detectors. I’m not wearing that in this pic, though, because I fell for the old west sort of look this particular outfit offered, and decided to take it to an old west inspired sim! I used the Destination Guide and found Salt Lake City, Utah – 1872 to be suited to my needs. My hair is from Elua, a store I discovered during the recent Hair Fair. I really loved this particular hair because it includes a version designed for use with hats! It’s SO hard to find hair flat enough on top to work with most hats, so I thought this was ingenious. The fabulous pose, complete with wind blown props, is from Infiniti.
I’m sick (stupid, rotten late summer cold), so I’m lagging a bit with posting. But I’ll have more soon, promise!
