LAQ has released a brand new head that I am in love with. Vivien is mature, sophisticated and reminds me a bit of Betty White. If you’ve been dying to have a bento head that looks mature, this is your chance! Like all other LAQ heads, Vivien features motion capture animations and they’re gorgeous.
I decided to pair Vivien’s elegance with some vintage items from the 1940s inspired round of Rewind. I’m posing on one of Astralia’s backdrops and wearing a gown by Valentina E. My hair is from Olive and it’s called Lorelai which made me unbelievably happy because, hello Lorelai Gilmore! Anyway, all of these things can be found at Rewind through November 28th. My shoes are new from Gos at the current round of FaMESHed. The Cassie pumps are the first to debut Gos’s new HUDs, which feature three different color packs, including a pack that matches Blueberry’s color palette.
To everyone celebrating today, I wish you a lovely Thanksgiving! Thank you for being here with me.
PS. Please forgive me because this never, ever happens to me but I forgot to write down the pose I was using in the headshot pic. 😦

Chocolate is a serious thing. ~Deanna Troi
I very much believe Counselor Troi had the right idea where chocolate was concerned. I mean, it is a serious thing. So the Artisan Fantasy Chocolate Shoppe set for The Epiphany, with all its goodies, spoke to me right away. I mean, c’mon! Truffles… boxes of beautifully wrapped chocolate gifts. I love the wrappings just as much as the chocolates insides sometimes! It’s fun. It feels so posh to buy a box of Godiva all beautifully wrapped for the holiday (whichever one it happens to be!). The cute polka dot lingerie I’m wearing are common items from Blueberry’s Epiphany set, the gorgeous bed is from Sway’s. It was at the December round of Uber, so if it’s not yet in her Mainstore, I imagine it should be soon. The chair in the little room behind me is from Brocante, but through tomorrow you can grab it at the Love To Decorate event. Brocante is the new name for collaborations between floorplan and Consignment, and Brocante items can be found here, along with floorplan’s items. The fawn over the chair is at the floorplan mainstore, and the sign over the bed is a floorplan release for Collabor88. My sparkly, glittery hair is from Olive for The Epiphany. I love the sexy, bedhead look of this one!
Before I go, I leave you with this little clip where Deanna Troi demonstrates how to savor an ice cream sundae!

I love the nap tubs from floorplan for The Epiphany. They’re seriously cute, and look so cozy I wish I had one just like them in RL. They have a jumping animation built in, and this is how I feel right now. Like I’d rather jump on the bed than sleep! We’re leaving for a 1200 mile road trip tomorrow (be back Wednesday night), and I am so excited I’m finding sleep elusive. I decided this would be a perfect way to show off the silly gift Izzie’s released at Geeks ‘N Nerds… googly eyed pasties! There’s also ones you can wear over your eyes. They come in both static and animated versions. My hair is another Geeks ‘N Nerds release, from Olive, and my skin is by Atomic and can be found at The Epiphany!
I took the photo on one of the docks at Blithe. And now, it’s time for sleeping and vacationing! See soon!

I immediately fell in love with FATEplay’s latest release for Wizarding Faire 2015. How can you not love a working broom and a quidditch uniform if you’re a Harry Potter fan?! The uniforms are sold with a broom, but the broom is also available for sale separately. So if for some reason you just want the broom, that’s an option! I took my quidditch uniformed self to Blithe and flew around, looking for a great place to take a picture in the sky. When I saw the comets, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Know what’s really cool about this broom? Damien Fate, owner and creator of FATE Designs, said that when he updates this broom it will be compatible with the quidditch game played at Mischief Managed. If you’re not familiar with Mischief Managed, that’s the role-play sim where Wizarding Faire 2015 is held. I am fascinated by role-play, but the reality is, I lack the patience for it. I want to just get up and cross a room, not type out that I’m crossing the room. But if role-play is your thing and you love Harry Potter, definitely check out Mischief Managed. If, like me, it’s just not something you can do, fear not! Mischief Managed opens the castle doors to the Wizarding World every Monday with OOC (that’s “out of character”) Mondays! There are important guidelines to follow, and you can learn more about that on this page. But it’s really pretty cool that even non-RPers like myself can visit this lush, gorgeous, incredibly detailed sim for fun and photo ops.
And don’t miss out on Wizarding Faire, which is now open and full of Harry Potter universe greatness!
